Inside This Issue Letter from the Administrator This Was the Year....1960 Resident Spotlight Did You Know.... |
Letter from the Administrator Hello everyone and welcome to our July edition of the Viewpoint. I can't believe it is already July the months are racing by. We have been enjoying some beautiful weather and while we had to reschedule our concert by one week due to the threats of thunderstorms it went off wonderfully on Wednesday June 23rd with a great cookout accompanying the Moonlighters. They are a 20 piece orchestra and they were fantastic. They were so well received we added a concert date and invited them back for Wednesday Septemeber 1st. Our renovation plans are continuing along as we await the slow HUD process of approval. We have selected a general contractor and we are moving forward getting them up to speed. I will keep you informed. We were very honored to be recognized with a nice article in the Kent County Daily Times on June 29th about our National recognition for the residents and family satisfaction survey results. We continue to work daily to deserve such great survey results. Our calendar of activites looks great this month. Our next band concert is Thursday July 22 at 6pm and is an Ice Cream Sundae Social. Please come and please bring your lawn chairs. This month we are changing locations of the concert so it will be a surprise. I want to congratulate Tammy LeBrun for achieving National Certification as a Wound Nurse this is a wonderful addition to Tammy's skills list. I also want to recognize our June Whatever It takes winner Bethany Souza, C.N.A. Bethany works on our Sub Acute unit and was recognized by her co workers and residents for the exceptional care she delivers everyday. Thank you Bethany. On behalf of all of us at West View I want to wish you a Happy 4th of July. Best Wishes, Hugh J. Hall Administrator | ||
